Happy Mother's Day/Mommy and Me Monday

I cannot believe this is only my 4th mother's day. I feel like I have been a mom FOREVER... In a good way, of course!! Seriously, being a mom is the most natural thing I have ever done in my life. I am so blessed to have had children so that I could find my "calling". Before them I felt lost; not sure what I was to be or do with my life. And thank you to my own mother, for bringing me into this world and giving me a chance to feel what it is like to be a mother myself.

Here are some snapshots from this afternoon... none from this morning. Dave was working this morning, so the kids and I stayed in pajamas and lounged around!

Even though it was cold today, the kiddos enjoyed our new sandbox while Dave cooked!

Dave teaching Ben about the grill!! Look at my handsome husband and son!!

Ben thought he was way too cool for a high chair or booster seat tonight. He also likes to live life dangerously and refused the hot dog I had safely cut for him.

Happy Mother's Day...looks and sounds like a great day (despite the hubby having to work). And, too funny about the hot dog...how old is he because he totally sounds like my 18 month old!

He is 16 months old. He is learning how to assert himself a bit earlier than I thought he would!

Ahh, wonderful day and good looking 'dog'. It looks like your baby has a touch of red in her hair as mine does- looks like red is on the rise :)- Happy Mommy Day & yes, it does feel like I have been a mom forever too- funny, can't imagine life any different, for the most part :)-

Haha. I love the picture of your son with the hot dog. My daughter just turned 17 months, so they're close in age. I'm also born and raised in Pittsburgh! We live in Wexford right now.

Happy Mother's Day!
