The one thing I can't seem to get used to about being a working mommy is leaving my daughter in the hands of others for 8+ hours a day. I trust her daycare but I miss my baby so much! Today I struggled with whether or not I was a bad mommy for dropping my little snot queen at daycare. Not for my own selfish reasons, but because she really is the queen of snot. When I went into the nursery this morning, my baby was covered from nose to chin with dry and wet snot. Gross! Thankfully its that time of year and all the babies are dripping with the stuff.
What really concerns me is I think my baby is starting to like the taste of the snot as it drips into her mouth all day/night. She also thinks its perfectly ok to smear it all over her mommy, the couch, the cats, etc etc. Double gross.
However, it is Friday. From 4:30pm today until 7:30 Monday morning, she is all MINE! =)

We have matching snot queens! I think that this might be the formative period when some kids learn to apprecite the taste of their own boogers.
